Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 4, 2025

1. Who we are

Sneksoft Studios ("we", "us", "our") creates software, games and online tools spanning VR/XR, FiveM servers, web applications, mobile apps and internal management systems. This policy explains how we handle information across all Sneksoft products, including:

  • Public websites and GitHub Pages sites
  • VR and XR content (e.g. Meta Quest, PC VR, Unity builds)
  • FiveM servers, frameworks and connected tools
  • Mobile applications (Android/iOS)
  • Internal dashboards, automation and developer tooling

2. What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not share your data with advertisers or ad networks.
  • We do not build advertising profiles.
  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or higher where local law requires).

3. Information we may collect

3.1 Websites & GitHub Pages

  • Standard HTTP logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested, timestamps)
  • Basic analytics (e.g. page views, referrers) where enabled

This helps us keep sites secure and understand how visitors discover our projects.

3.2 Mobile apps (Android/iOS)

  • Account information you create (email, username, basic profile data)
  • Device and OS information required for performance and debugging
  • Push notification tokens (if you opt in)
  • Crash reports and diagnostics
  • App usage events that do not identify you personally

We do not collect financial data, advertising identifiers, or precise location unless the app explicitly requires it and you consent.

3.3 VR / XR apps and experiences

When you use a Sneksoft VR title (Meta Quest, PC VR, standalone builds), we may process:

  • Platform identifiers (e.g. entitlements or app-instance IDs)
  • Crash logs, performance data (FPS, stutter frames)
  • High-level interaction telemetry (e.g. "level completed", "menu opened")
  • Controller/hand interactions where needed for gameplay
  • Cloud save data where supported

This helps us maintain performance, stability and feature usage analytics. We follow all Meta Horizon data usage rules.

3.4 FiveM servers and tools

When you connect to a Sneksoft-operated FiveM server or use our connected tools, we may process:

  • Identifiers provided by Cfx/FiveM (license, platform IDs, Rockstar ID)
  • Discord ID if linked for whitelisting or permissions
  • Gameplay data (character ID, inventory, job, finances, gang membership)
  • Session metadata (connection times, resource errors, anti-cheat flags)

This is necessary to run the server, maintain integrity, enforce rules, and prevent abuse or cheating.

3.5 Support, feedback & bug reports

If you contact us through email, Discord, web forms, or in-app systems, we may receive:

  • Your chosen name or username
  • Contact details you provide
  • Information from logs, screenshots or files you send
  • Any details included in your message

This is used solely to reply, investigate issues, and improve services.

4. How we use your information

  • Service delivery – running apps, VR titles, game servers and tools.
  • Security & abuse prevention – stopping exploits, detecting cheating, protecting user accounts.
  • Performance & user experience improvements – debugging crashes and tuning features.
  • Communication – responding to support requests or user reports.

5. Legal bases (where relevant)

Where laws like UK GDPR/EU GDPR apply, we rely on:

  • Performance of a contract – providing the app, server or service you use.
  • Legitimate interests – maintaining security, preventing abuse, improving gameplay and user experience.
  • Consent – for optional features like analytics or notifications (depending on platform).

6. Data sharing

We may share limited information with the following categories, strictly as needed:

  • Platform providers – Meta, Steam, Cfx/FiveM, Google, Apple, etc.
  • Infrastructure providers – hosting, storage, databases, crash logging (e.g. Firebase, Cloudflare, S3).
  • Communication systems – Discord, email services, support platforms.

We do not sell data or share it for advertising or profiling.

7. Storage & retention

We keep data only for as long as required to operate the relevant service, comply with platform rules, and resolve disputes or technical issues. Where possible, we delete, anonymise or aggregate data over time.

8. Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights such as:

  • Requesting access to your data
  • Requesting corrections
  • Requesting deletion (see our Data Deletion page)
  • Limiting or objecting to certain processing

To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity for security reasons.

9. Platform-specific requirements (Meta, Google, Apple)

For VR and mobile platforms, we follow all applicable policies:

  • Meta Horizon Data Use Policy
  • Google Play User Data & Families policies
  • Apple App Store privacy requirements

We only use platform-provided data necessary for entitlements, performance, gameplay features or consented analytics. If the platform provides a way to request data deletion, we honour such requests within required timeframes.

10. Children

Sneksoft products are primarily aimed at adults and older teens. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, or any higher age required by local laws. If you believe a child has used a product or submitted data, please contact us so we can review and delete it where necessary.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data: access controls, monitoring, encrypted transport, rate limiting, and minimisation practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk wherever possible.

12. International transfers

Because we use global infrastructure providers, your data may be processed in countries outside your own. When required by law, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections.

13. Contact

If you have questions, want to exercise your privacy rights or delete any data, please contact us via our Contact Us page or email:

privacy@sneksoft.dev

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as our projects evolve or legal requirements change. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be announced on our website, in-app or through community channels.

Generative AI Policy

Last updated: January 1, 2026

1. Purpose of this policy

This Generative AI Policy explains Sneksoft Studios' position on the use of generative artificial intelligence ("AI") technologies across our products, websites, games, artwork, and development processes.

This policy applies to all Sneksoft Studios projects, including websites, VR/XR experiences, FiveM servers, mobile applications, digital artwork, and promotional materials.

2. Our position on generative AI

Sneksoft Studios does not use generative AI systems to create:

  • Artwork or visual assets
  • Music or audio assets
  • Written narrative content
  • Game assets, models, textures, or environments
  • Marketing or promotional artwork

We believe creative work should be produced by human creators and artists. We do not support the use of generative AI systems to replace or imitate human creative labour.

3. No AI-generated art in Sneksoft projects

We do not knowingly include AI-generated art, music, writing, or other creative assets in Sneksoft projects.

Where external contributions are accepted (for example community submissions, contractors, or collaborators), contributors are expected to confirm that creative assets are human-made and do not infringe on the rights of others.

If AI-generated content is discovered within a Sneksoft project, we reserve the right to remove it.

4. No training of AI models on user data

  • Sneksoft Studios does not use user data, gameplay data, or analytics to train generative AI models.
  • We do not provide user data to third parties for AI training purposes.

5. Limited use of automation tools

This policy does not prohibit the use of:

  • Traditional non-generative automation tools
  • Debugging, linting, or build tools
  • Performance analysis or crash reporting systems

These tools do not generate creative works and do not replace human artistic creation.

6. Platform disclosures

Where platforms require disclosure of AI usage (for example app stores or distribution platforms), Sneksoft projects will be declared as not using generative AI to produce creative content.

7. Changes to this policy

If Sneksoft Studios' position on generative AI changes in the future, this policy will be updated clearly and transparently. Any change would be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.

8. Contact

If you have questions about this Generative AI Policy or believe AI-generated content has been included in a Sneksoft project in error, please contact:
